In addition to developing and advocating for positive policy changes, Dr. Gaind has worked with the community in various forums, ranging from speaking at public events, to developing community initiatives, to fostering our future community leaders at schools and training programs. Dr. Gaind believes such engagement not only contributes to building a better community together, but is also essential for avoiding "ivory tower" policy development that is divorced from community needs.

On behalf of the Dream Team, we would like to extend our most sincere gratitude to you for supporting our fundraising efforts by speaking at our Annual Fundraising Dinner...Your presence and support encourages us to continue to do what we do best: advocating for more supportive housing and educating the public about issues affecting those of us who live with mental illness and addictions.
